On June 13, the RA NA Vice President Arpine Hovhannisyan received the delegation led by the Member of Bundestag of the Federal republic of Germany Niels Annen.
The RA NA Vice President has highly assessed the current level of the relations between Armenia and Germany, noting that they are active both at inter-state and parliamentary level.
Touching upon the RA-EU relations, the RA NA Vice President has highlighted the deepening of relations with the European Union and has noted that our country is a full, predictable and perspective partner for the European Union. The Member of the Bundestag has also considered important the further development of the RA-EU relations and in this context, has underlined that Armenia can be a bridge and promote the development of the EU-EEU relations.
At the guest’s request the NA Vice President presented in detail the Constitutional reforms implemented in our country, talked about the signing of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership New Agreement, as well as the issues concerning the development of the Armenian-German relations at parliamentary level.
Emphasizing the deepening of the two countries’ relations, the Member of the Bundestag Niels Annen expressed readiness to contribute to the development and expansion of the Armenian-German ties with his activities. The German MP highly appreciated the work done in the reforms made in the sphere of justice and in the elaboration of strategy of fight against corruption by Arpine Hovhannisyan as RA Minister of Justice. He expressed conviction that Mrs Hovhannisyan will continue supporting the effective implementation of that process in the NA Vice President’s post.
